Question: Ya know how when you do a project yourself instead of hiring it out, the generally accepted rule is that it's OK to spend the money you saved on tools? Does anybody actually stop buying when you've reached the savings amount? Or buy a nicer version of something you already have (so that you'll have at least TWO of something that you can't freaking find when you need it)? Please don't tell my wife or accountant that I'd be richer for hiring somebody.
If you die, I'm coming to your estate sale because your wife thinks you paid $75 for all of those tools.

I WISH it was a matter of "if", but I'm sure the "when" will be here soon enough. You'd better be ready to travel...gotta beat the match she's probably gonna drop to 'clean' out the house when I'm gone.

Anyone local to Charlotte that knows electrical stuff? I'm looking for some help setting up some LED strips to back-light a sign.

We are having ten large letters cut out of MDF (~4' tall) and I want each one to be individually back-lit. I know the LED strips can all be cut and they have easy no-solder connectors available. But I believe the total length we'll need will require a few different runs in parallel and a larger power supply and not sure how to figure out what I need exactly.

Das Jetta has become long in the tooth. Enter replacement, 2006 BMW 325xi 6-speed. Feels good to have a BMW again.

Evidently this is also a way to permiss a new BA cooler in the household budget i hear. From someone. Here. With a BAHMF cooler after a similar incident.

Or just put it in the truck lol

Glad to see the wolf pack stood up to the bear.

If only he had thumbs lol.
Cake n coffee b*tches

I might have to take trip to URE first to test the waters so I'm not so far from home.

Plans for the kayak this year died with my water heater. So I'm trying to get out for some old fashion camping truck and a tent.
