Cat's out of the bag!! Check it out, my new tow rig. Flew down to Texas Saturday AM to pick her up. Was planning on being up at Rice's for the party, but was delayed (long story) by 4 hours.
2004 F-550 - 6.0l powerstroke, ZF S6-750, 2WD, 211k miles. No issues in the 1250 miles from Fort Worth to Durham over two days! Body/Chassis/Interior in excellent shape. Motor has a few codes, but some TLC will get her fixed up in a jif.
Need to come up with a name!

- Hooch
- Lohocla (alcohol spelled backwards)
- Revenuer
Ooooh, good call. I was starting to feel out "Moonglow" for the F-550. Something related to bootlegging or moonshining is a must though!!

Bill Burke I am just disgusted with the vast majority of winch/mount bumpers and their DANGEROUS designs! Hidden winch mounts, hard to see drums, small hand openings for the clutch lever access! You all just continue the process by telling people these are soooooo great! Use a winch once in five years... who cares if it is hard to access! Start using a winch weekly....(regardless of driver error!) and the danger mounts with (mostly unskilled) people operating these unsafe units! Step up and quit pandering to the money and make a difference!!!
