Ok the tire delima continues ...

Any thoughts on this tire ?
Date code reveals it was made in 2011 and Mickey Thompson rates their tires for ten years regardless so it's already at its half life point. Really wish I'd taken a closer look before accepting as I'm sure any recourse just got tougher if even possible.

The ostrich leather look didn't bother me but this line in sidewall seems to be a crack vs a casting ridge I had presumed

Thoughts? Waiting for a call back from MT

Ive had a few tires look like that. After running on the rim with a flat...

I would take that tire back to the store ASAP and make them refund you.

And that was their first comment or attempt at dissuading a warranty claim. But I had already shown Mickey Thompson warranty tech and a good friend that works for Michelin and they both said was worthy of warranty.

Just got home. So 4.5 hours total and I have no tire and will get a refund check in 10-14 days. Turns out KTD is owned by kernersville Chrysler dodge jeep across the street hence why they had that pig in. Anyhow Corp rules so I'll wait I guess. They did offer me any other tire at cost but I had to bail on that one and thinking over. I'd like to find the old atz pattern to Match. Not the plus model or new p3 replacement. There's one in Amazon for 239 + 202 shipping lol. No thanks

I didn't like the looks of the new Tacoma on TV, but I saw one in person and it is different, and "ok" if not better than "ok" - - I still prefer the 1st and 2nd Gen, but I like how open the wheel wells are on the new one.

In case you didn't know, North Carolina now allows online driver license renewals for most people. You'll only be able to do it that way every other renewal period.

Longshot: I'm looking for a piece of land (preferably near a lake - Badin lake would be nice) to store/use my RV. RV park, open land, etc... Or just a Mud member that has a spot for me to store the RV? Storage contract is coming due beginning of March and I don't want it up by Belews anymore... Just doesn't make sense to have it up there.

Belews is closer to you than Badin. Thinking Badin area would get more use?

Yep I'm thinking it'd be a nice spot to keep it, by URE. If I can actually use it rather than the storage spot by belews that's essentially a chain linked lot.
