Hi all,
As mentioned, I'm only asking the seller additional questions on this FJ62 so far. They have a long list of modifications that have been done. It's quite lifted, I'd want to return it to stock height. Would that be costly to do? Are there other red flags I may be missing? I'm asking for more details on what the rust areas look like.

Thanks in advance!

You will be ahead finding one that is closer to stock than buying this one and restoring the suspension to stock or near stock height. It's been regeared to accommodate the larger tires and you'd want to regear back to 4.11s. That's going to be more effort.

@Godwin is over the target. If that is your price range, you can find nicely appointed ones that are closer to stock.

To clarify: when you say “return to stock” are you wanting OEM leaf springs and 29 inch tires?

Good point on the gearing, I overlooked that.

That's spring over axle with a shackle reversal and cut and turn, so lots of work to undo that. Not to mention steering parts, driveshafts, gearing, etc. Keep looking! Lots of nice stock ones out there.

Looks like a decent 62 for someone looking for a lifted wheeler.
