My biggest hater <3 you (FYI this guy follows me around everywhere hating on everything i do)
1st: The bar was 100% created/built in my garage the only part of the job that wasn't done by us was using a machine to do the folds on the wings which anyone who knows anything about that kind of fold is totally required its not possible to do the folds without it anyway the machine cant even get close to the angles required so they still had to be hand beaten with a sledge hammer, i have no idea where you got the idea that we didn't build it 100% ourselves. Who are you suggesting built it ? and what proof do you have of this ? i have numerous photos of it being built step by step in my garage. Of course you cant prove it, because its just not true, if you have genuinely been misled by someone else that's forgivable but if thats something you yourself have said to stir trouble then that's really quite uncalled for, regardless of how we get along.
Edit: we also had the bar painted by a shop.
2: My suspension setup is fantastic for me and the the kind of driving i do, not all of us potter around touring with a 2" lift, some of us actually do some challenging driving and require suspension travel and require a bit of height, my shocks are the correct length FYI, who are you to judge they aren't ? Valving isnt exactly wrong it works well and does a good job, its absolutely fantastic off road (which is exactly what i asked for when describing my driving when the valving was being done) but i would like to experiment with something higher settings just to compare as iv nothing to rate its current performance against, Shame on me for trying something new and not getting it 100% right like you would buy paying 4X the price and having someone else do it for you. edit: Shocks haven't cost me a cent more since the day they went in ? so im still around $1000-1500 ahead of what it would have cost to buy them here have someone else do it for me, excluding fitting which would be another few hund, so i don't see how its cost me more ? apart from two larger bushes i think they were $35 for the pair ? shocking expense there.
3: My up travel is more than enough for me personally i dont see how it impacts or matters to you in any way, its my car iv built it for my driving not yours and your thoughts on it count for nothing. As iv said before down travel is preferred to up travel generally speaking, there are of course exceptions but not in this case, its perfect for me. I have yet to encounter a situation where i needed more unless im being silly and driving very fast over whoops and thats where the hydro bumps come in, they aren't in yet but the cars a work in progress and it cant all be done in one go.
See IMO thats plenty of up travel for a 35.5" tyre, i dont need any more than that and that's it, there's nothing more to say.
