As I get ready to upgrade my interior, i was looking at SORs vinyl and cool cruisers, almost stock covers.
That's when I truly noticed for the first time that my front and back seat material don't match. After some research, it appears that my back seat is stock for an 87 60, but the front are not.

What are they from? Or did some come with mismatched material?
Thanks. Regardless, the nice back seat cover may soon be available...

87 and up matches your fronts, someone swapped your rear for an <86 seat

I knew the immense knowledge of MUDdom would know.

Thanks

Yup 87 here as well, fronts of OP are late-style gray version with simpler stripes
OP's back is the early gray with the thicker compound strip.

@Rusto, How is the driver seat condition? If you end up matching the back
instead of the front I'd be interested in that seat or that seat cover...

Did I pass you today on Florida?

I was not on Florida yesterday. There is at least one other Startdust Silver 60 in town, and I'm seen a third with an ARB Bumper on the front from time to time. I live on the west side (west side!).

Now that I know the back seat isn't original, I'm pretty sure i'm going to upgrade all the seats with new foam in the front and SOR grey marine grade vinyl all-round.
i'd give you the old front seat covers, but the passenger seat has a big oil stain (could come out,but I doubt it) and the driver side has a big hole / tear in the driver's side bolster (like always). This one looks like the rats have been eating away on it and it leaks foam granules constantly.

The rear seat covering is in perfect shape, however. But nobody ever needs those...
