Made some steady progress today. The manifold panel is now plumbed (at the manifold end anyway) and wired. Fits snug and looks pretty good.

The tank arrived this afternoon so I started to fit that. The 4 little rubber grommets/feet were a right royal pain to fit however some very hot water and a significant amount of skin from my thumbs and they are in.

There are a few lessons to learn here regarding the sequence of things.
1) The tank will not fit if you have already bolted the RATS to the frame.
2) The 4 machines screws to secure the tank to the RATS have to be located in the grommets before the Tank is fitted. There is just no possibility of locating them in holes if the tank is in place.

After all is installed I went back to my workbench and found some spare parts (I think/hope they are spare parts)

Tomorrow I will run the line from the manifold down to the tank. That just leaves me to finish up the airbox to compressor fitment and the compressor to manifold via the coalescence filter.

One other thing - where have people been running the cable for the drain plug? I am struggling to see a tidy but convenient place for it.

Hoping you put the Delrin spacer under the left side feet of the tank? It keeps the condensate/water at the drain.

Oh and I'm running my drain cable to the rear cross member within hands reach. Just leave a little bit of slack. Not much needed. I left enough cable so that it can be changed down the road.

Looks pretty, but it means you gotta unbolt the bracket to remove the filter canister in order to clean out the gunky mess that accumulates inside.

True and of course it all depends how often it's used. I didn't want the filter supported by the hoses and every hose clamp solution I found just sucked.

Side of the air filter housing. Really anywhere along it's circumference but I envisioned under the MAF.
Cool, that's what I was thinking. Is the filter going to come with the hoses in and out? I'm assuming it goes from the york-filter-manifold right?

Inline from the Air Manifold Mount and the discharge line of York. The filter comes with the fittings it needs. I already have two of the three hose kits so I'll just need to kit up the third.

One possible alternative. Makes accessing the filter housing a snap.

Looks like you have put a lot of work into the design of your on board air setup. I have used a setup using a York compressor for years on my CJ7. I have a green oxygen tank for my air storage. I will say that I love my York on board air setup! It takes only a about a minute to go from 10-12psi. on my 35" x 12.5" x15s MTZ P3s to 30psi. Per Tire of course!

Kilby did a lot for OBA.

So I've finally reached my wits end on this stupid filter bracket.

Aaahhh... I see what you did there! I feel like I just watched a movie where they said the title of the movie as a line of dialog. It's like a fourth wall break/ inception moment.

Sweet! Do you have the hose from the york to the filter yet? I think I need that, the hose from filter to manifold (already on site I think?) and the filter setup to complete this
