I have thought about it, but would rather have that oil in the blow-by going back into the intake as top-cylinder lube. But that's just me....

Yep, pretty important in FI setup. I don't like blowing oily water into the intake.
You mean the top like 1/2"? The cylinder walls are well lubricated with the piston rings constantly scraping the walls. Any oil blow by does more to affect exhaust readings than it does to lubricate since it just gets carbonized during the 4-stroke process. I'm not trying to lubricate the intake manifold so...![]()
The fallacy is that you think you are catching a significant amount, but it is actually a tiny amount of the total crankcase vapor going through the PCV. If it was a good idea, the factory would put them on every engine.
