but I’m in a place where I have to be realistic and hanging onto it isn’t helping me move forward.
I’d like 8k for it. Body is obviously in rough shape so I’ll be willing to haggle. So many of you have been there for me and I’m not happy about doing this at all so be considerate.
Rear spring hanger body mounts were removed, rebuilt and rotted frame was mig weld patched a few years back.
I have spare parts I never got around to… seats are in decent shape.
It runs strong. Off and on it has had an electrical cut out seemingly as I’d shift up into third. I just had it rolling a bit ago across the street in a church lot and brought it up into third and then dropped off gas pedal and it stayed strong. Could be that I’d adjusted the float height and that’s solved it, idk. Having had it stall on me a few times last summer sorta set the stage for major anxiety. And being a single mom who only works part time… I just can’t hang onto it.

* fuel tank hose kit from cruiser Matt plus a in great condition, fuel pickup.
** Possibly sold separately ** stock carb w/ rebuilt throttle shaft bushing (truck has been running on a city racer for a few years)
* AC system was pulled years ago but all hose and parts kept and will go w/ truck.
* roof rack avail, will need work. Heavy.
* spare unmounted tire avail. Stock rim included.

Selling a set of 5 Tracker 8 rims w/ tires. Four are wrapped in 295' KO2's, one will be a standalone rim I used as my spare. I'll get a tread depth gauge and take some measurements this week, they're not perfect, with maybe 40k on them. two tires are useable but not great due to a bad tie rod end. The others two perfectly worn and will work if someone needs a set cheap 34 to get them by.

They're nice rims, and have some complimentary rock rub on two, so i'm open to reasonable offers to see them go to a good home with the tires

I’m going to be pulling the 1FZ out of my 97 FJ80 for a 2UZ swap. Would like to keep everything together. Engine, trans, harness, ecu. 150k miles. Leaks some oil. I don’t know any history on it. Bought it after it sat for 13+ years and put 3k miles on it with no issues. Figured I’d post it now incase anyone wanted to see it run/drive before it gets pulled. $1500, Orange, MA

FJ40 tail light harness wanted...

I'm working on a '76 FJ40 rebuild with a friend and we need a tail light harness. Thought I had it and now I can't find it...

Need the harness that runs from the engine compartment near the heater fan motor back to the tail lights. '74 to '77 will work IIRC.

@zebrabeefj40 I can make you a new rear harness that goes from firewall (two connectors that connect to the cowl) all the way back to the tail lights. What tail lights do you have? Specifically the connector style? PM me.
