Well..I finished one side. I still have a little more body work...but all of the rust is gone.....which is a very good feeling :D

I'll up date in a bot with a new rendering of what color I am going with...it's a new inspiration.....and to give you a hint...it involves sweet wood grain :D

Looking really nice. So one truck gives up the wood grain, and another gains it, hmmm.

Looks great but I would miss the lower quaters......

Zack

I won;t miss the lower quarters when I build the bumper back there.
So how's this for old school wood grain? I am thinking tree bark..or possibly aligator.
..remember..the goal is eye catching ugly :D

I like the aligator!!!! Do you have snake skin or wood grain? How much would that stuff cost and can one of us do it?? If you can do that I know you can do some disco stripes!!!!

Yeah...I can do the wood grain and disco stripes easily after I get a pattern set for the curves on the fenders etc...so as soon as I get mine done...anything will possible..and cheap :D

Sweeettt!!! DISCOS man oh man!!!! You got me all excited now!!! :) Just have to figure how to get some tintable herculiner cheap so it wont stand out so much after I repair my rust.

gator skin in that color if you're in FL. IF you're closer to "the city" I'd go baby-blue on the gator part (think urban pimp)...

I take credit for that gator stripe idea! Looks sweet.

That is just cool as hell that you can do that!!
How about a certain species of wood grain? Like wormy maple. Lots of grain and small dark knots. I "wood" change mine every year!!

I am considering that as well....I can pretty much put any digital file in there I want. I have a cool pic of some brazillian wood that I am considering. I won;t be painting for a few weeks until I get the lift on...but before I make the choice, I'll post up a few more ideas :D

X2 on the gator skin that looks way cool!

Dynosoar :zilla:

How about....

wait for it....

Disco stripes with an aligator pattern? eh? eh? you like?

More pics tomorrow when it's dry:D

Sweet!!! I said go green!!!

helped me decide

been following your thread. i was debating the lines for my paint job. originally wanted to paint all the way to the roof line but decided against it after seeing your photoshop work. just finished puting olive drab on the bottom half and left the top white like yours. now i'm working on a thin black pinstripe to separate the two.

It's not Goat Puke Green, It's not 70's Toilet Avocado , That's algae Slime Green ! Great Color-Luv the nu 1/4's . What about a checker board inlay ?

Man, I really like that combo. Did you go for custom color blends, or were they off the shelf?
