Thanks to Rising Sun and especially the CM Comittee. I think the event has grown and lot and the management of the event was excellent. Being a trail leader and issued a Satelite Phone was probably a first on any organized TLCA events and much appreciated. It makes the worries of the unforseen in the back country a lot less.

X2 on the CM committee. It really is a top shelf event.

Small correction on the sat phone 'first' Thanks to our generous sponsors, River Shiver has been able to outfit our leaders with Sat phones every year that the event has been TLCA sanctioned.

Nice to see the new expedition rig performing well and finishing the event unscathed. You know who to call when you are ready for the cold weather testing.

have your arms recovered from 3 days of wheeling yet? I'm still very impressed how easily you handled your 40 without powersteering. i should have taken a few notes for the people in my club still running without it.

switching to skinnier tires (now 10.5) helped with streetability as well; this truck doesn't see much mud, so flotation was not needed.

Michael says hello as well, thanks again for all your help; if you'll have us, we'll wheel with you guys again anytime :bounce:

Does anyone have any pics of all of us getting stupid on the sand dunes on Behind the Rocks?

Snook took some video. I dropped him off at the top and he went at it. I believe Cougar Freak took some pics. I was having too much fun to worry about a camera.

I have a couple of the group at Behind the rocks but haven't had time to download them and resize them. I will post them when I can.

Here are some quick low-res videos of Wagoneer, LexusBen, and Bobzookie driving down the wedgie at Poison Spider.

Also VoodooGirl driving her FJ up an obstacle on Fins & Things.

And you gotta see Semlin test every piece of armor on his truck as he tackles the waterfall at the end of Kane Creek... well done, Semlin!! and sweet bumper, Luke!

Also be sure to check out Wes' line up that waterfall.

edit: last one, here's CruiserDan making his way down wipeout hill.

Here's one of Sam waiting at the bottom of Hells Gate behind luke porter watching what could go wrong. No real damage on anybodies rigs and ours made it up clean.

I don't know who needed a change of clothes more, Sam or myself. When he drove up clean, on the video I took, I said "Oh my god" I guess in disbelief. If I hadn't been so shaken I would have used my favorite phrase "F... me, he made it"!!!!
