Fast-Forward to the Golden Crack. Our trail leader Dave Hartman (WhiteKnuckle) did a phantastic job of moving us about - not easy to do with 16 vehicles. Not much photography after dropping into the wash after Skyline, as everyone concentrated more on moving forward, with spotting thru Zuki Hill and across the all the ledges that make up 'Spike. So Crack it is...

thanks for the pics guys and gals!

(and keep these cameras level, pretty please, it's steep enough already...:) )

Finally made it across myself :bounce: :bounce2: :bounce:

No more pics from us, it was a great run but a very long day; time to return to the start point on Hwy 191 was a total of 11 hours. No serious breakage that I know of; a tire carrier spindle (fixed with a ratchet strap); standing my '40 on the bumper a few times cleanly cut the tail light wires between bumper and tub; and two FINGERNAILS   :D

Tilting a camera - who in their right mind would do such a thing? :flipoff2:

Festivities must mean "Pictures of my FZJ-45/80 sitting. Doing nothing. Not flexing. Not stretching. Doing nothing. "

Let's see some action from that beast.:D

Jim, I think the only pics of Gary's junk we're gonna see on here are from camera phones! That is, until the next mag comes out!

I'd bet money on that! [the mag part]

Pics from today's run on Steel Bender, not many on action pics since everyone was busy, particularly on the big dropoff; weather wasn't cooperating for a while, either. Anyhow, here's Phil in his DD.

with some t'case shenanigans (i.e.temporary two-wheel drive), this climb got the better of me... Mike in the other 40 on this run made it look easy

No pics of the BIG drop (maybe someone else?); I was too busy towing Michael's 6200lbs. Blazer down ;)

actually, I was being lowered down on a strap in the rear. With the canyon cliff directly to the right and the truck coming down the ledge almost perpendicular to the cliff, we were not sure I would be able to make the sharp left with the full weight on the front and manual steering :frown:

Very nice again Claudia.

Like the panties shot on NCD's rig.

Anyone try the BBQ at the Norcal 80's campsites? I almost don't want to know :D
