FREE - Rusty gas tank from my 1978 fj40. I recently replaced mine, due to some leaks due to rust. Not sure if its salvageable, sides and top seem solid, but bottom is rusty (visable hole). Patchable? Maybe but not for me...

I presume there isn't any interest but figured I'd throw this out there just in case.

Not necessary but I'd gladly take trades for any similarly "useless to me" fj40 parts that are taking up your wife's garage space.

If anyone wants it, shoot me a PM. I'm in Charlotte.

The tire rack I have on my 82 has larger pins than this one. Pictures may show it.
The top pic being my 82. That may be the only difference. Quality picture taken with harbor freight free flashlight and IPAD almost a camera.

Thank you for the pictures! They look very similar and I'm sure the mounting locations are pretty close if not exact. Locally, @scott johnson also came through with a carrier off of a '79 - which is an exact match. I think between his and @ErikinSC I will be good to go. Thank you, sir! I relinquish my first right of refusal to @JohnVee Thanks again!

Just putting a feeler out there for any interest in buying my 34 inch super swamper tires. Tires only....$125 each. I have 5...one is brand new-no use-and the rest have very little wear. I can measure tonight and take pics if needed. Let me know if anyone is interested. Trying to make a decision on getting new ones. Thanks!
Are they 15 inch rim size ?

Maybe JohnVee and I will talk over lunch.

Hi Jeremy, if you end up using Scott's license plate holder, can I buy your old one? I don't have one at all for my 78, and i have a feeling i will likely need one to pass NC inspection.

Actually, I'll be at David's house this weekend; he's hosting a HAMOM. He is going to help install a rear Aussie Locker on my 80! Yes, I'll finally be able to make it up some trails without y'all pulling me with a winch :-) Thanks for letting me know about the tire carrier - I'll see if I can pull it when I'm there. I found the license plate bracket for this vehicle, but I'll check yours out to see if it's in better shape… This one looks a little rough. Thanks, Scott!

Sure thing! Mine is usable, I just don't know if Scott's is better looking...

Charlotte.

Need a way to carry a 33" spare on a FZJ80. Stock spare tire winch for underneath or some way to mount to bumper/back...

4X4 lab bumper & swingout, Slee bumper & swingout, lots of options. I do know someone who offers a way to carry it inside at a very reasonable price point...

Ooops. Sorry. Should have added that I'm trying to keep it under $500 or so. I'm a baller on a budget...
