I’m thinking more along the lines of Tacoma = 1995-current. But apparently doesn’t apply to Craig’s, FB,etc. where any Toyota can be a Tacoma even if it’s not.

Wrong thread?

I think you need this one
I was responding to the post of the yellow 40 selling wheels and tires from a mid 80's tacoma, you may have missed it. I was trying to be funny but also try to let them know that the tacoma did not come out till 95. Sorry to clog up this thread with useless puns.

What tape or adhesive did you use. I don't drill them, because I had people ask for not to be drilled. Also if I drill them I cant guarantee the hole location will be right for every one.

My appologies, prissy purist priests. A "mid-80s Toyota Pickup". Sorry to raise your vapors. And its not a 40, its a 43 is you want to stay pure.

Still, good luck with the sale:

Last night I decided to go a different route with the LC, so I will start getting rid of a few things. Starting with a wrinkle black and silver valve cover, and VHT painted exhaust manifolds.

Did you happen to get a chance to check whether you had the center rear belt?
Sorry, we were in quarantine because of one of the neighbors....all clear as of Saturday though. I ran by today and took a look I have the two outboard retractable belts in grey. As soon as I pulled them, them failed to retract.

Not sure this is the thread for this but I have some interest in this and could use the insight on the price given condition.

Im waiting on underside pics.

Cheers!

Pretty pricey to have things that don't work. Looks like it at least has the locker switch.
Get a pic of the door jamb sticker for correct locker code.

Mid-Atlantic salted roads and coastal salt air do a number on vehicles.

The underside pics will tell a lot more wether this is worth looking into further

Thanks those were my initial thoughts as well. No lockers (confirmed from another pic).
Given that, Id expect everything in working order at that price but to your point, much more can be told w pics from underneath.
Thanks!

Yeah. Pics show no locker. Not a deal breaker. Low miles at 187. No pics of said improvements (leather) agree underside pics will tell the story.

Only two non op items Listed. Not bad for older vehicle but...
Air bag pump motor?
And what part of a/c is bad.

What evidence of HG repair. You can look up vin to see what if any maint was done at dealership.

It’s not far out of line of current market unfortunately. Of course I’d rather score for 10 but that’s getting tougher these days.

Right now I am looking for something ideally under 180k and mostly stock.

I guess its time to put up a WTB officially in the classifieds too!
