Saw a LC on Hwy 64 near Pittsboro the other day. Daughter and Friend in car were like - - ooo we like that one :)

They are gorgeous cars in person. Maybe what a Supra should have been minus 1K lbs and cheaper materials :)

I can't even afford this one:

Doug video is OK:

someone at my gym has one of these. they are absolutely gorgeous in person. i really don't mind the supra, either.

4 BFG KO2s back up for sale - 315/75/r16. 2 are good to go, with less than 5k miles. 2 were damaged during dismount (see pics) on the sidewall. One I'm confident will hold air and would be a decent full size spare. The other, I likely would only count on in case of emergency.

$200 firm. Buy 2 new matching tires and you'll have a whole set with AT LEAST one full size spare.

I’ll take them.

I’ll take them.

Coolio. Now we just have to get them to you somehow. I might be able to put them on a hitch haul tomorrow - going to Indian Land to visit family if someone could synch up to drop them off (I think you are still in Va, right)?

Yeah. I’m in no rush. Greensboro or south along 85 would be convenient, if someone is willing to hold them for a bit. I’m heading south again on 5/26. 29 to 85, or 81 to 77, depending on Mudship needs. PM me a paypal address.

Sarah will be with me in VA this weekend. Not sure who is left in CLT this weekend. @forrest5000 would be my go to Mudshipper but he’s at GSMTR.

I could head your way on 5/26 if I can leave here early enough...it then adds 3 hours or so on to my trip.

@JohnVee and @mtweller indian land sc? if so I am not a terrible detour
I could keep these in my shed...

@JohnVee and @mtweller I know I’m not well known in these parts but I’m in north Greensboro. I could rendezvous along I40/85 tomorrow and then I’m only 4 miles off US29 and will be around 5/26. If I can be of assistance, let me know.

I have located a treasure trove of surplus Hardigg cases. $20 each. Dimensions are roughly 18”x18”x12”. Pelican website prices them at $411.00 new. These are the Pelican/Hardigg Storm Cases. They are waterproof and they have a little pressure relief valve on the side. PM me if you want one or two or several. That price again...$20. While supplies last!

Thanks for the offer, I'm in S Cary so our route on a Friday afternoon takes us down US1/501/27 - traffic avoidance being the key!

Wait! There’s more! There are three or four of these big rolling cases. They have an inner frame that looks like it can be removed to save weight and provide more storage area. These open on the ends, not a clam shell or like a suitcase, so while they are big, they might not be convenient for most storage. They’d be ideal for keeping camp chairs, tents or other items dry. New, they are $1,100.00. (Who in their right mind would pay that? Well, except for the US Government!). As-is Price for the big case is $50. Again, PM me if you want one. Please specify “big case”in your PM if this is the one you want. I also posted some smaller ones for sale for $20.

Dave, the “frame” resembles a ‘shock proof’ system of some sort. Usually 19” rack mount stuff, but that doesn’t seem to be the case here. Hmmm.
There are four little spring loaded release buttons on the inside of the frame. Look at the inside corners of my second pic. It looks like something slid into that frame and locked into place. Whatever it was is long gone now. Lay two cases side by side and fab sliding drawers inside. Add some plywood and make it an indestructible sleeping platform/ drawer setup. Seems like there should be a good use for these. I just don’t know what.

Well, I did find them in Monroe, but not really anywhere near Five Points/Red’s. In a little Mom and Pop thrift store just off Independence. I forget the name.
