Let me ask a stupid question though. If it is the heater core all I would have to do is turn the heat off in order to drive it from Asheville to Charlotte correct?

If the heater valve works, then yes. If not then pull the heater line at the top of the PHH hard line (on the back of the intake) and run some heater hose over to the return on the exhaust side of the engine.

Whoever talks to this guy needs to ask, is it wet inside the cab or elsewhere?

Not if it's leaking coolant. you'll need to bypass the hoses that feed the front and rear heater cores. basically a piece of hose about 2-3 ft from the hardline at the top of the rear of the engine, before the heater control valve, down to the hardline that feeds back to the thermostat.

Talked to him and he says it is leaking inside the truck, it sounds like the factory lockers have been removed and replaced with the guts from a non locked axle. He didn't know much about the truck so I didn't go into anymore detail about the axles. He said a "Toyota expert" came to look at it yesterday, I have asked for that contact info to see if I can get any solid information.

I talked to another guy that went to look and drive it. He said it didn't look like it ever had lockers, somebody just might have added the dial. He also said he couldn't smell the coolant inside the truck. There has been a significant movement downward in the price, might be going up there Thursday to pick it up.

I ordered a pair slides for my drawer build. When the showed up the were different lengths, one is about 2" shorter extended, they are the same length compressed. They are sending me a replacement pair and do not require this pair back.

Id do it at that price comes with synthetic line to they have a 2 year warranty and seem to have decent reviews in AUS better than what you would get quality wise from harbor freight probably id take the gamble

Either that or the Warn VR series. Retail on the TJMs are up there....the sale price is almost half off of other sites.
