All kidding aside, I believe Johnny's long term plan is to extend the frame and mount a roll back. Wood is a good cheap temporary solution to at least get use out of the truck until then.
Since Johnny was planning to use his rig as a daily driver I suggested the 5th wheel over drive on ramps just because of length.
Course, now I'm just yanking his chain and enjoying my morning coffee.

I am with you, sitting here drinking coffee and plowing through a stack of parts receipts. MUD entertains me while I am doing it. I would go bug nuts if all I did all day was sit in an office and just generate paper work. When I was drawing blue prints for a living I'd sit at the computer sometimes 14 hours a day. I bought a compound bow and started shooting 100-200 arrows at a time several times a day. I got pretty deadly out to about 40 yards. It broke up the day along with frequent dog walks.
Up side was, I traveled to Key West 6-7 times a year for work. I started the business when I lived there and kept it up for three years while living in Hendersonville, NC

That 5th wheel hitch might work while waiting to extend the chassis and build the ramp bed
Besides, once I get some necessary work done on moonshine, she'll be back to DD duty and the superduty will sit.

I have two black ones. They may have chrome under the black but I don't know. If so, no telling what condition the chrome may be in. You are welcome to mine if you can't find anything better

Were those on all years of the 60 series? What came on the 62 series, did they just say Toyota? My son in law has a pair of those in the pic as well as a pair of the Chrome sleeves he got with a set of 4 rims from a 60 owner.....he is trying to decide what he wants to put on his 62. I have black sleeves on my 62 and all black back caps with Toyota on them but i am sure they didn't come with the vehicle as the PO did a lot of upgrades......
bottom line, we may have some available but i think it's going to take a few days to a week for a decision to be made. He's painting the "T caps" right now and going to put them on and see if he likes.
