Found this on offer up for $2500. Not mine. It's an 87 but messaged to find out mileage.

I have a friend that would be interested if you get a contact.

I've seen the white one with the ugly wheels several times. I know where the guy lives but not his name. Southeast Charlotte. I think the tag is 78FJ40. The guy wasn't very friendly when I approached him.

Isn't that the guy who was selling the top

I don't think so. This is the cruiser I spotted several months ago in the "You've Been Spotted" thread. See posts 1613 and 1614.
You have been SPOTTED!

Some of the stuff still remaining:

- door handles (interior, 4 ea, brown)
- grab handles (interior, 4 ea, cream/white)

There is another box with a bunch of old de-smogged parts and such that if anyone wants to take them lump sum and/or drive them to Trollholes part swap...let me know. Slave cylinder, washer reservoir with pump (reservoir broken but pump good), water pump, thermostat housing, distributor cap and plug wires, tubes, vacuum lines, rails, etc.

Anyone have need of a 95-97 CDL switch? I got it from a guy selling them on mud few years ago and just found it in my dresser. The emblem is CNC'd. Never installed or tested. Free to an ONSCer. Will snail mail it also.

Whoa whoa whoa, thats not a CDL switch, thats a Tie Fighter Switch. My kids told me that long ago, it turns your 80 into a sleek gravity defying Empire Tie Fighter, fast as s***. Be careful when you push it while driving.

to use it you have to turn the passenger seat rear facing.

Already deleted, though

I went to look at this one yesterday down the street from me: 1973 Toyota fj40 Fj 40 It is an honest and complete truck in above average condition and the seller was a great guy (a local veterinarian). I told him he should just keep the truck and join the club! The truck has rusty rear sill and rear quarters under the diamond plate. The rest of the truck is pretty solid. Paint is fair. Underside is really dry and leak-free. It has the F in it with a Weber. It cranks right up. No smoke. 3 speed (on floor). Drum brakes. Seems to run good. I didn't drive it though. It has a couple of minor electrical gremlins that need to be sorted. It had working air conditioning in it at one point but some parts are missing from the truck. The seller was going to look through his parts stash and see what else he had of it. His $12,000 price is negotiable. More pics:

Pass by this place and see this sitting inside the gate. Called yesterday for information to pass along. It is at Empire Towing Corp, Hwy 150, just past 115 heading towards Salisbury. Beth said it is a 1983 they have the title in hand. Pictures are from her, so I have not been up close. Owner is asking $3000.00. Don't know much else.

Beth you have to do better than that. $3k is too much. Now if they will part it out, I'll come pick up those snake blinders.

Beth would like to do a price reduction, but the owner is trying to get top dollar. They may part out at some time. She said they have about 200 cars on the lot, but only this Landcruiser.

that thing is not worth $3k...rust...trashed interior...and lots of wire splices and backyard fixes in the engine bay visible. Steering column messed up....you sure this was not stolen or flooded? it is a project vehicle or parts vehicle only...but not sure how many parts are any good from looks.

Hey guys -
I mentioned at the meetup last night, but I am in the market for a 4runner for the wife.
This would be a primary tow vehicle for the camper and boat, when only using one; and my Cruiser would pull the camper while the 4runner pulled the boat when we were planning to use both on a camping outing.
I talked with @weejub a while back and I'm going with his recommendation, so here's what I'm looking for:
2008/2009 4Runner with the V8 and tow package (for 7350lb towing)
I'd like to have the Trail Package which comes with the locking rear diff, but that is purely wishlist.
I've been searching for a while locally, and this setup is needle in the haystack, so any tips you can provide would be greatly appreciated and respected.
Let me know of any leads you see.
thanks!
-Derek
