Haha, so I bought the LX with the grill plastidipped and the bottom portion of the bumper appears to be a textured bed-liner type of paint. I wasn't too thrilled at first that the bumper modification was so permanent, however it's really grown on me and I get complements.Have a front end pic from further away? Paint, plastidip, or wrap?
edit: was looking at the grill first didn't even notice the engine bay![]()
Big difference indeed. I might have to take my Dragy unit with me to get some 0-60 and 1/4 times. I had it installed in Houston, Prospeed Autosports. It's a stage 1, so tune not needed, although it would be beneficial. Other than the upgraded low pressure fuel pump included in the kit, along with the fuel pressure regulator mod that is a step in the installation instructions, the factory ECU adapts and runs rich enough. I was definitely looking into getting a tune via HPTuners, however I don't see the LX as a supported vehicle. I should reach out to them.
Not bad. It's only .2 miles off the main forest road to get up there. That .2 miles was the toughest trail I've been on, but that's not to say it was tough, a stock 4runner came up right behind me. This was my first time really getting out to test out wheels/tires and OBA setup. But I wasn't concerned with brush or anything coming up. If you were going to camp up there, it could use a trimming if you were to ground camp, unless you camped right where my truck was parked.@lx200inAR
How overgrown was that road getting up to that camp site off Winona?
Cool few little trails for kids right there too boot.

Unit was $7500 including freight. Labor was about 15 hours + taxes. Fuel economy is strangely better! I've been driving it rather aggressively to enjoy the honeymoon phase. Mixed with some normal driving, at 1/4 tank with 205 miles clocked, it still says 60 miles remaining, which is surprising considering how I've been driving with this 1st tank since install. I chose the Harrop because it's a bigger unit and doesn't need as much psi to produce the same amount of power. It's a well reviewed supercharger online with lower intake air temps (IAT) due to the design. The Harrop is 2.6 liter vs 1.9 liter for the Mag.Very nice.
If you dont mind... How much was the install? How is your fuel economy? Why did you choose Harrop over Magnuson?
