Thats one way to wreck your truck. Won't know it for a few years but that will wreak havoc on all seals under there.

I'm not too dumb. I spent 10 mins at the self serve car wash only targeting the undercarriage. Hopefully i knocked off all the salt 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm also in the "that was a bad idea" camp. Probably not the end of the world if cleaned up quickly and thoroughly, though.

I drove my Tacoma on the salt flats in Utah for some 10-15 minutes, and then spent close to 45 mins laying on the ground at the car wash, trying to get all that salt off. Still not sure I got it all. It made for a few nice photos, but I'm never doing that again.

I did it because I've never owned a capable 4x4 and my 39yo self was acting like a 15 year old. Yes, i know salt is bad but I knew there was a carwash right outside the beach. I didn't know my wife was taking pictures, but I decided to share anyway because I thought it was a cool picture.

In the true spirit of mud, I'll carefully document how much rust i acquire over the years and report back to you.

Went to Mount Charleston today. Wasn't really expecting to find snow.

Not sure what's up with my camera, why some parts are blurred. Had a real good time wheelin around TSF today but of course I didn't get any pics - was having too much fun! Lifted a wheel, pulled out a FJ62 and watched some buggies.

^The blurring looks really unnatural, almost like software is applying it. What camera/software are you using?

Other than that, good looking rig.

Probably greasy fingerprint on the lens. Another one...

I suspect it's camera settings. Looks like it tries to focus on something, and then intentionally blurs the rest.

Being almost 2weeks.. guessing the frame has started looking like swiss cheese? Lol

How'd ya mount led bar behind grille, did you remove foam pad or whatever that thing is called, any pics?

No, I just drilled through the foam and the metal below it, and used some lag bolts to mount a couple of L brackets, then mounted the light to it. Not pretty but it works. I got the brackets from Home Depot in the lumber section. They are a corner bracket for decks and such. I had to torque down on the bolt to get the light low enough. That is why the foam is a bit crushed.

Awesome, thanks for the reply..... Give me an idea of how to mount one.... I think it should be fine, that foam cover thing seems pretty firm and not flimsy.... Do you remember the length of the bolts you used? Pretty long since they go thru the foam plus metal bumper... I'll crawl underneath my lx when I get a chance this weekend....

I think they were 4" but not positive. It was the shortest I could find that was just longer than the foam and the metal cross brace.
The foam is quite solid. No bouncing of the light.
