That looks great. Is that Drexx's old truck? Then Robert's then I lost track. Formerly belonged to Steve Young? If so, very cool. That truck has some history!

@drexx had the green 1997, and I have had the blue 1996 since 2009. Both known corp/lease vehicles to Steve Young back in the day as a pitchman for Toyota.

3. 406,000Km

5. H150
6. HF1A Part time
7. Gearing - stock 4.1
8. Castrol VMX-M smooth shift oil

1. 1997 FZJ80
2. Cummins 12v 6BT, full rebuild
3. 22x,000, ~14k on motor
4. Swap, swap, swaparoo! Originally A343F
5. NV4500
6. Full-time (stock Toyota)
7. 4.10 (planning to re-gear to 3.73 or 3.55)
8. Added a transmission oil cooler (well, half of one) with a sight glass to give some reassurance there is, in fact, oil in the transmission.
9. None. Considering Terrain Tamer reduction gears.
10. 16-18mpg, dependent on load and throttle application. While I'd like this to be a higher number, in time I'll get there. In the meantime, I've about doubled the available power given the motor, and take pride in the truck's freeway overtaking prowess as I ride a wave of torque
11. 35" KO2s, ARB front bumper / MD12000 winch, Slee rear bumper and sliders, Gobi Ranger roof rack and rear ladder, 4" OME lift with "comp coils" up front and heavy springs in rear, OME steering stabilizer, custom shift lever and vintage Toyota gear shift knob, @pfran42 interior LED kit and LED reverse lights (WORTH IT!), Labrak cutting board tailgate insert (also WORTH IT), BH3D 3D-printed cupholder, Wits' End passenger fire extinguisher mount, ARB2500 awning
12. This thing has been a dream come true, despite some teething problems. I use it as a daily driver as well as a bug-out vehicle.

I'm feeling lonely here. Am I going to be the first person in the U.S. with a 1FZ-FE U.S. Spec 80 series with a H151F? I see a few in this thread with 1FZ-FE and 5 speed in other countries but anyone with a U.S. spec vehicle that has done it?

No, you're not the first. @k4azy has a US spec truck with a H151F swapped in. So do a few others.

Has anyone possibly got the above mentioned dimensions for me so i can finish my gear lever surround this weekend?

the boss has 3 GLX's in the back sadly they are rusting away (something about making an 8wd with 3 axels in the back).... i think he said the one is an import 1FZ-FE U.S. Spec 80 series that has been converted to RHD for the Australian market. i'll check later.
