Great, now 40's are the new 35's...

D

The yokos are amazing. One finger at 70mph on the highway. I feel my ram assist steering is the secret. It will stop death wobble. Even my unbalanced biased swampers cruise great on the highway.

That's sweet - ram assist does seem to be a key factor as you hit 37" and up. One thing to note is that a 40 on 18" rims is hardly any more tire than a 37 on 16" rims, and Yokos are probably more friendly in that size than Interco's in my size.

Clearly it can be done :grinpimp:, but prolly a bit much for 4" of lift...

40's are not grocery getter friendly. Yet... :hillbilly:

Maybe your wife is too short. My wife is just tired of everyone checking her out and trying to race her in the cruiser (downfall of a nice sounding exhaust), also tired of the gas prices, so I think I'm gonna get her a TDI Jetta wagon. This way she'll also quit racking up miles on MY cruiser!;)

One of the early 37's trucks done back in 2005, still kicking!

Photos below show the new prototype 2.5" Radflo remote res. bolt in (no adapters) shocks front and rear on the truck. These are a direct replacement for your OME L shocks. (We have two sets in stock right now! They are not on our web site as res. mounts are DIY only for now. We will be making bolt in mounts for them.) Just ask Woody how they were working at Moab this year!

Truck has OME J springs, custom Radflo remote res. shocks, Metal-tech 2" front spring drop and 37" Irok's

which is the overall extended lenght of those shocks .. ?

I would ike to see bit longer than L which are not enough if you are in the 4" lift range ..

The RadFlo shocks on our 80 series are built to the L series length. However, we can have the shocks built to any length/compression that will work within the tolerances that Radflo has on hand.

I was wondering when someone would post a pick of the 40x13.50 geolander MT+'s! Ram assist would be nice...

I hate to disagree but 40's are grocery store friendly, just ask my 60 lol. Ill make sure to get a shot of it in front of wally world in its element.

On a side note, Ive always loved the look of that metal tech 80.

I need to take a look at it, in my driveway. Or atleast at GSMTR or Southern Cruiser Crawl.
Mark, I have a great idea.... store one of your rig's at my house and I'll bring it to you at all the SouthEastern events! We'll call it mine and leave it at my house.

Stop spreading rumors. We are just getting past the notion that running 37's means you are likely to kill a busload of nuns :D

I see nothing wrong with killing nuns by the busload....
