i know very little about hummer wheels but dont you need the insert to acually make them a double beadlock?

Are you running aftermarket rear control arms, front tie rods or anything else ? I don't see you moaning about bent suspension components really.

I am running first gen (1/4" wall DOM) Slee HD lower control arms that I have lengthened 3/8" and a Slee HD tierod.

I got rid of my stock LCA's right away - they stood no chance :D

40" tires are the magic number. I've boomeranged more than a few in the past, but with 40's the LCA's seem to be lingering around... and I'm only running 4" lift with 40's.... low and flexy. lovin every crawl/bounce minute of it.

40's would be sublime, but then mine is a family hauler mountain rig, too, so the 37's stay and the LCA's just have to be happy they aren't locating 35s anymore :hillbilly:

...and what tires are YOU running on an 80?

345/75/16's

I am a huge fan of stock wheels.

Lift...OME heavy front with 2" Metal Tech spacers Front, OME Medium rear with 30mm spacers

Front's rub just a bit and the rears rub a lot without 4" bumpstops.

It is low and I like it. I will deal with the rubbing before I lift it higher.

Wheeled ok this last weekend, needed to massage the front left a little, and still need to massage the front closet to the doors just a tad more. Still no problems with the factory plastic. My 33's looked like training wheels, my 35's looked factory, my 37's look much better!!!!

The OZ tires did better then anticipated on clearing out the mud from the tread, same spots I always stop at when I arrived I would usually not be able to see inside the tread. It would be caked with mud on my Mickey Thompson MTZ'z. These had only 1 or 2 spots on every tire caked a tiny bit. Paid $340 for 6 almost brand new tires, $370 for 5 brand new rims, all shipped, taxes, mounted, balanced, on the rig, out the door less then $850.

hummm.... Two trucks, left the assembly line identical (well, mine was slightly superior w/ the magic switch) - and now they both have the same 37" tires - and nothing about how we got there is the same. I've got more lift, more travel, no flares, and I contacted until I cut the wheel wells. We've got to wheel these together soon - Maybe the big meat run Disney in March?

the 345/75r16 on stock wheels is definitely going to be my next purchase. I will probably look into a 1" body lift with bump stops to limit the amount of rub and trimming needed. So sick looking.

Though, i wish it was a 315/80-85 r16
Would be a little easier to fit if it was narrower.

Sounds Good Walking! I will have finished putting all my lift on there by then, got the spacers put on Wed. Doing the BL on Monday. March 11,12,13 at Disney correct?

Give some of them folks some white trash Lexus's to gawk at!

Hey,
325/80 R16 on Alcoa 8" , 4.5 Diffs, no spacers (though needed when using chains and in the pics here, 30mm), front OME about 4" and rear custom springs to keep it low..., and a lot of trimming ;)

OUCH!!

My eyes, my eyes!!

Thanks, Sönke, for your pics. ;)

It's wrong how sweet your vehicle is Sam. And I've got nothing but love for your ride as well landspeeder. I'm thinking I might try the 40x13.50R17 geolander mt plus when I move this summer back to the states. Who needs sheet metal anyway!
