Just got some 37" Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT's installed on some Icon 17" wheels. I really need to install my 4.88's now. lmao.

Already getting some rubbing on the front tires, rear part of the wheel well. Maybe need to do the Delta long arms?

Get 5.29s, as someone with 4.88s and 35s it’s still pretty gutless.

Already have the 4.88's. bought them during the nitro sale last year. If its still to slow for me i'll do the TC under drive gears for H and L.

I did as well, they were just too cheap to pass up. They aren't terrible and not a huge difference between them and 5.29 but I always want a little more.

I ran these with my 37s and was happy with them.

That is by far the smoothest line i have seen anyone taken on this obstacle.....good job Broski. I am still amazed how smooth it was...
Thank you for the compliment!

^^^^ This
I have been running them for 3 years now 😍

Typical Richard! You're a smooth operator man. Will you be at Rubithon? I'll be there, but as a passenger riding with Brian.

Do you have any issues with clearance on these? I feel like I would be scraping them. I guess if it is still higher up than my slider I should be ok?

Not going to make it this year 😕

IMO it would only be an issue backing up and only hard core rock crawling.

No, I didn't have any issues at all with them. I have a Trail Taylor crossmember, and I hit that more than the RAMs. I am/was on a shorter spring than you, but they brought my caster back to where it drove a lot nicer also. I had stock arms and bushings still.

quite possibly the heaviest 37" combo possible

My Trail Tailor skid plate almost never gets hung up on rocks, except when i was on Fordyce Winchhill 4 (might just be a bad line i took....the only thing on my 80s constantly needs replacing is the extended rear sway bar end links. Switched back to the shorter landtank version and it has never been a problem since. I have also replaced my rear sway bar mounting brackets a few times...for some reasons, my rear swaybar ( i am on my 2nd one) is so bent from crawling now it is completely bent upward and no longer an issue with clearances - problem solved for now....

Or move the frame brackets forward an inch

So I picked up a set of Fuel wheels with 37x12.5x17 Maxxis Razr’s. I’m excited to have 37’s on my 80 BUT the center holes don’t fit over the hubs. They are close, but still too small. Anyone else dealt with this?

BTW, I’m told the have about 5,000 miles on them and they measure 36.6”.

Ya, your not the first one to have issue !
I'm going to guess it's the lip that retains the center cap which can't be used any ways.
Post a picture of the center bore.
If your handy and have a router and pattern bit you can take that lip off 😎

If you're totally in love with the wheels, you can demount the tires and have a machine shop bore out the center holes for you. Otherwise, you're going to have to get a new set and make sure you get something with a large enough bore size
