Yeah but that Frank Zappa video is awsome!

I'm totally Bummed out. I will not be out there to celebrate the 25th and join my fellow LC bretheren on my favorite trail. A few words of advise for the first timers:
1. Take the line less traveled,
2. Be careful jumping between the granite rocks post Morader bar + PismoJim, and
3. Do not let Doug or Alvaro sit in your chair.

I look forward to some epic stories and pics

Cheers!
Sammi

Going in Thursday

See you all on the trail Thursday. Camping at the spillway Wednesday Night. 7am Big Jim run.

1. Take the line less traveled,

I understand what you are trying to say. However, in this case, do not take the line less traveled. It's probably not actually party of the trail ;)

Almost there, just a couple of hours tomorrow!

BevMo is just one block out of your way in Folsom and right next to an In 'n' Out Burger. Make sure you take a stroll through the Craft Brew Aisle and pick up one or two 22oz bottles of the best stuff on earth. Moylan's, Speakeasy, Lagunitas and if you're lucky, they'll have some Russian River Brewing Pliney the Elder, but not likely. You might find a 4-pack of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine-style Ale. Anything Barleywine or double IPA would be an appropriate finders fee...

Well I'm out of here!!! I hope everyone is prepared and I'm looking forward to the having the event instead of just planning it! If you have any problems, contact your run's trail leader. They are all very competent and will help in any way they can. Once your close, you can hit me on the HAM if needed. I will be on the 805 / Rubi.

Thanks to everyone for being so patent and to all my committee guys that have helped along the way already! See you in the Springs baby!!!

That sucks Sam. I guess I'll fill the void of the monster tires 80 series then. Was hoping to meet the wife and party with you.

Aight, noted!

Looks like there's a Safeway down the street, so I'll wait to pick up our groceries there.

I need a rod bearing for a 2F. #6 failed on the way up last night. Ige and Pighead are helping me. Driving down to Placerville now

Call my cell of you know where I can get one

707-235-0247

Thanks!

use the old leather belt method!!!

I think I have a set of F rod bearings sitting around. What size do you need?
I'll be in Tahoe tomorrow

We need "standard". F no good

Georg is calling around. So far, I've tried Steve Warden, Hangtown / Carnage, Napa, & O'Rielly

Left a message at John Pardi's, but I think he already left.

Closest I've found is New Mexico

Mace - Ige mentioned the leather belt thing. Kinda funny
