Certainly seems to be correlated to the cold. Which sucks, standing in your gym clothes at the tank, slowly pumping 23 gallons in a Utah winter isn't a great time.
Is this common? This never happened in my 470. I've noticed this almost every time I fill up gas in the 200. And it's when its warm out too.
I've only noticed it recently, maybe the last 3 or 4 fill-ups. In the summer and fall it didn't have this issue. Why it's happening to you in the SF area with 60* temps, I'm not sure. This is the first time I've heard it mentioned in the 200 section at all.

@TonyP, I haven't thrown a code and in -5º I can fill up just as fast as in summer temps. I feel like my truck is being nice to me since I saved it from its first owner with destructive children (and owner).
Seriously, my shifter plate is scratched to hell, I mean what was going on, was someone dropping keys on it for 3 years strait. My front cup holders lid has dog teeth marks all in the corner of it, and the rear seats had a big gulp of red slushy dropped down them. I found a quarter in the rear DVD system, and I mean, IN the system. The left side of my steering wheel is also completely different colors than the right side. Must be from oily or sweaty hands. The right hand must of been always on the shifter plate, just scratching at it...
Side note for everyone, I felt the windshield deicer thing was sucken', so I took it apart. Everything works fine, its the Plinkerton glass itself only heats up where the wires connect and not down the length of the windshield. But since I had a small planet shatter out my windshield a few days ago, we'll see what a Safelite one does. I'm fine with satellite glass, it's the people I've never had good results with, but we'll see. It will be broken soon enough anyway. I average a windshield every year, gotta love that $0 deductible.

Bring your ass out to Moab next year (er this year), it'll surely have codes afterwards if you follow us. Just don't follow @kreiten 's brother unless you like the smell of swampy water in your rig.

Ive done moab and never threw codes. I remember peoples gas tanks boiling but that was it on that trip, no codes. Im betting you guys jared something loose beating the snot outta your trucks while the gas was boiling. Just a huntch. Or you pissed off one of the gods out there.
Had to go to work the last two days in our "blizzard". Happy with the LC and the KO2's so far. Never slipped or had any issues traction wise. My windows didn't want to roll down though.
@bamma how are the Falkens working for you? I had the pleasure of being in the Seattle area for the holidays, including the "snow storm" Christmas eve. With the high water content, that snow turned into some very slick stuff when compressed!
I've had the Cooper ATW's on for a couple of winter's now, while they are good, they are not great, especially in ice (or I'm just expecting to much from a tire that is supposed to do it all). I'm seriously considering a dedicated winter tires on the OEM rims I still have.
I only had the Falkens on for a couple winter storms. They handled great for an AT. No slipping and decent braking. I think they would be good all winter long. However, I did the same thing you were considering--I had the OEM wheels, so I decided to put studded winters on.
I'm up in Brewer Maine until tomorrow, and was out in the blizzard yestarday, it was snowing like crazy. I'm not impressed with these KO2's on icy or hard packed snowy roads, but in loose fresh snow on unplowed roads they are amazing. The truck is just dead solid.
I was out today in Jacksonville area 50° and sunny and My KO’2s handle pretty damn good just thought you guys would want to now

For the past 2 year, my parents have been searching for their next adventure vehicle. Everything was a possibility, from a Sportsmobile to a built Tacoma with a 4 wheel camper, then a Ram 3500 with 4 wheel camper, to a 4runner with a trailer, then a Raptor with all sorts of overland gear. A new 2018 Land Cruiser, Blue Onyx with the Terra interior, without rear DVD screen. They are pretty excited, and have been wanted to get back to adventure travel for some time. They got it for $76,000 (cash). It that helps anyone thinking about buying one for comparison.
Right after a full break-in, it will immediately go to BudBuilt for a hidden winch mount, rock sliders with kicker, skids, control arm and shock armor. They might be coming to the LCDC this year also. In no particular order and not limited to, @kreiten, @indycole, @Markuson, @Willy beamin, @tabraha, @linuxgod, @TexAZ, @Dan Higgins, @TonyP. Your pictures, builds, and trips are what proved that the 200 was the vehicle that could do it all, and in the end, helped more people make a great decision.

Awesome! A couple years ago, I was originally looking at a Tundra or Tacoma and the dealer had just received a 2016 Blue Onyx with Terra interior (had already been purchased) that we had a chance to check out. From that moment on we were only looking for LCs. The Blue + Terra is a wonderful combo!
Taco2Cruiser, You mention having your folks take their new Land Cruiser to BudBuilt for Rock Sliders, Skids, "hidden winch" mount and other goodies. Is Bud making a hidden winch mount for the LC 200? I see a generic winch plate in two lengths on their website, but is there more to this than that single set of items? Just curious... Thanks.
