I am trying to collect data about OEM Tyres. Owners manual describes a very wide range of different sizes

I put these in the order, from the smallest to the biggest. I also added non OEM Michelin XZL 235/85 R16

Based on this table we can observe the tyre size from 28,5 to 35 inch.

I also collect the pictures for a short overview, but I can not fine the 35 inch photo.

The smallest is the US market DUNLOP SNOW CRUISER 78, old fashion size H78-15, which is about 28,5 inch.

The next is a European tyre (after 1982) DUNLOP SP44J, 205R16, or about 29 inch

Classical DUNLOP ROADTREK MAJOR were different sizes

For Japan market 7.00-15 or 30 inch

For General markets 7.00-16 or 31 inch

For Europe and General markets 7.50-16, about 32 inch

For General markets it was the sand tyres 35 inch (9.00-15). Probably someone has a picture?
I have only this, but it looks like 16 inch disks

Some people put non OEM Michelin XZL 235/85 R16. It also looks nice (31,7 inch)

As understand instead of DUNLOP ROADTREK MAJOR it is possible to use
SUPER SWALLOW 7.50-16LT

or DUNLOP UNIVERSAL 7.50-16

To my eye, 7.50 x 16 is what all 40s everywhere should have come with from the factory.

My Portuguese 1980 BJ40 came to me running tires marked: Cresta Special 205 R 16 C 110N. I have not been able to find anything about this brand, if anyone knows anything about them let me know.

I have never seen 15 split rims for a Land Cruiser.
Pretty sure Toyota made only 16`s split rims.

It looks like Toyota offered the Sand Tyres in 7.50 R16 size (like Michelin XS in Europe)

and 9.00 R15 tyres in General Market (DUNLOP SAND TYPE S5)

For General markets it was the sand tyres 35 inch (9.00-15).

9.00-15 is not 35”, it’s more like 29”.

This is not a vintage, its a Light Truck Size, that indicates the aspect ratio about 100%.

So a simple calculation is 15''+9''*100%+9''*100%
We arrive at around 34''.

But the exact diameter depends on the Model. For example 9.00-15 with 33.1'' diameter (840mm)

they had only 4 more in stock (2008)

Yes, not vintage, but the same size/marking. Is it LT as you said? This chart says anything but 6PR:
