What's the implication here? If/when I need to rebuild my trusty 2F, there won't be parts available to actually get that job done?

That's one of the reasons I ask, I'd hate to start rebuilding an old engine just to find out that there isn't anything to put inside of it.

FYI, y'all, this isn't for my 40.

I'm helping a buddy and his son rebuild an engine. (As if I'm any kind of technical resource) I have a PhD in toilet mint exchange at local breweries, in my spare time I'm a carney man with the traveling circus.

Mosely I thought only did mostly the later flat top pistons and not the domed.
