Just a rumor i heard, apparently incorrect. I don't know diddly about 40sI've had four 40s a 72, two 77s and a 78. All of them had a single flasher that was used with the turn signals and hazards. What year(s) of 40 have multiple flashers?

This will fix your problem. I’d hang on to the LED lights and hook them back up once you’ve cleaned all the grounds. But that’s me….the LED’s vs the regular bulbs in the headlights and the turn signals is a drastic improvement.Took apart and cleaned/polished the brass parts of the hazard switch. Put it back together and now have functioning hazard lights.
1 piece at a time. Now to keep cleaning and checking grounds.

I also learned that we should be using red LED’s in the brake lights and amber LED’s in the turn signals instead of white/clear LED’s in the brake and amber lights. I thought I had a pic of a side by side comparison of the difference but now I can’t find it.
