hae guys
made heaps of progress over the christmas new year break but things arnt looking to flash in the spring department im pretty sure things arnt going to work let alone to work well the springs are tilted backwards the diff points towards the ground and the bump stop is an inch away from the axle on the diff head side to stop the p/s arm hitting the spring
i see it as heaps of little problems that add up to one big one
what are my options? fix all the little problems but not rid my self of the big one or start clean slate go radius arm or 3 link

cheers ham55

I'm currently in NZ based out of Wellington. Going to be in the Christchurch area in two weeks, which I believe is close to Canterbury. Might could work out a stop by to take a look, I installed FJ60 PS on my 40 and it works pretty well (if i say so my self).

Off topic- where can I see some classified adds for Cruisers in NZ/Aus? Web or print, just want to see what they're going for right now.

hey CruisinGA as said trademe would be your best beat what are you after specificly ill see what i can track down as for havin a look at the cruiser christchurch is the center of the canterbury region so if your in the area it would be great to get sum advice from a fellow cruiser nut

hae guys i have got hold of a flatter arm off a bj74 it is flatter but which model has the flatest possibly straight arm?

I used an FZJ80 arm. Not sure if it is flatter than a 74 arm. 80 series arm is seriously beefy as well. Lots of meat so I was able to ream it out and use larger 1-ton tie rod ends.

I turned out that I didn't have any spare time at all this past weekend while I was in your neck of the woods. I'll keep an eye on this thread and see if I can help. Unfortunately I head to the "west island" ;) friday.

Yep.

Funny, every time I tell a Kiwi I'm going to Australia, they say they're sorry. :D

I guess I'll find out when I get there, I have a feeling it won't be so bad.

It's "cruiser heaven" (provided you get out into "the real Australia).

PS. We joke a lot about the ozzies but you can tell how we really feel by seeing how much money private individuals here are donating to the victims of the recent/ongoing Victorian bush fires.
