Great job Andrew. Yes painting, doing it the right way is no easy task. I painted both of ours .....it is a BEAST the day of painting. Very happy that I had help!!!

Dayum! That dodo brown POPS!

So cool how that color looks brown in some light and olive green in other light. Guess that's why it's called olive brown.

Do you do camo? Put me in line.

Yup, dune beige.

Love that Dune Beige! ;-)

Wrapped all these clips on the underside of the body with marine heat-shrink.

I remembered how rusty these bolts were when I went to take them off during disassembly, and decided to replace them with stainless steel.

Got the body flipped.

Did a sand with some 220, then did my final glaze coat.

Then followed up with 3 coats of high build 2k primer.

I still have a few low areas, so another 2-3 coats of primer followed by a wet sand ought to make this baby flat.

Got a visitor today.

That dang truck sure looks mustard to me. Maybe it will look darker in person.

Looks like it on my computer, too. Seems like it's that way with any old Cruiser color from a family (greens, browns, blues, tans)...red is the only one that always looks like Freeborn Red.

Even when I look at the pics I posted, it looks like mustard. Trust me though, it's brown. Just impossible to take a pic.

i trust what you're saying, because i know how fluorescent lighting makes color differentiating a nightmare, especially in a pic on a monitor on a computer.....

but damn if it doesnt look closer to the middle color to me....

I know I know I know. Trust me though. It's an exact match of the one on the right.
