I've had this for many years now, probably not going to have another piggie, the guy I got it from apparently got it from SOR when they were still available. It will come with an aftermarket gasket, long story.
the box has seen better days.

$500 mailed in the US

that thing needs to be 3D scanned...

@DoubleNickels

That profile MUST be uploaded somewhere- we cannot afford to neglect the opportunity. Good on ya!!!

Wouldn't a used one work for printing? I believe I have one that you can unbolt the two pieces making it easier to reproduce, no.

Yes it would.

My original inquiry and goal is to purchase a replacement working handle.

The scanning is a just a side idea based on the suggestion above.

while it could if there wasn't a good one to print from, wouldn't a good one make a better print? You'd have to draw the cracks out of the scanned profile if you scanned a cracked piece. otherwise, you may just replicate a broken handle...

We're closer than you know. TJ can chime in.

That new one is riveted together, some models had shoulder bolts instead making it easier to take the two pieces apart and replace the spring. I would hate to drill out the rivets on that new one. Sounds like we some fellas on it already. :)

Guys, I'd be willing to kick some cash toward the cause in getting this scanned and printed. Anyone else care to pony up?

Maybe this discussion of scanning and printing should move out of classifieds and in to a new thread in the regular 55 forum?
