Anyone recognize this good looking 100 Series that was recently at Stellarbuilt?

It's got a few Nitro products on it including our new Upper Control arms. The UCAs are in stock and ready to ship if anyone is looking to upgrade before the wheeling season gets into full swing.

  • The arms are 100% BOLT-ON
  • Heavy Duty Grease-able Sealed ball joint offers higher misalignment than OEM, and lasts much longer than uniball type arms, and no squeaks!
  • Removable Billet ball joint Top Cap
  • OEM style Rubber bushings for lower maintenance, quieter, less vibration and no squeaks!- Heavy wall tubular design provides more strength versus the flimsy OEM stamped steel arms.
  • Lower profile than OE, thus providing additional clearance for larger tires, and/or larger/ longer shocks.
  • 3 Degrees additional caster.
  • Will work on stock height vehicles as well.

Definitely on my 2020 "upgrade" list. LOVE my "standard" Nitro arms. But LOVE the idea of more adjustment capability and the rubber bushings.

What size tires are those? 295/70/18?

I am running these older style Nitro UCAs and I am in a squeaky hell. But I do think they offer increased down travel - Anyway to retrofit the seals BJs on these?

Are ball the new style ball joints replaceable?

I have these same arms and have had the same issue with squeaking. Get some silicone grease loaded up and grease the poly bushings at those integrated fittings Problem solved.

Is that the same thing as the Dilectric grease? Did you also lube up the bj itself? Finally, did you loosen the UCA mounting bolts to grease up the poly bushings?

You should be able to just grease at the ports on the bushings without messing with the bolts. Any synthetic silicone grease will work. Don't use petroleum based grease on poly bushings.

I like waterproof Marine grease for exposed stuff like uniballs.

I used this loaded into a grease gun:

Amazon product ASIN B0081JE2PQ
Loosening the bolts won't help penetration as far as I can tell, I just pumped it in until it started leaking out the edge then wiped the excess. This solved the squeaking until I took it out on a moderate trail and flexed it pretty hard at which point some squeaking came back. Ball joint was not squeaking for me and boot is in good shape so left that alone.

Thanks for the ideas. I was with you until the ball joint boots - My uniball BJs are open to the elements with no boots!

Used power grease gun to pump marine grade grease (Green Grease) in the poly bushings. Then use a shop towel soaked in WD-40 to wipe the exposed surfaces of ball joints. Finally sprayed the bjs with dry Teflon lube. It is mostly quite now.

@just differentials do you sell replacement ball joints for the previous generation Uni-ball type ones? My drive side one is clunking on imperfect road surfaces and it might be time to replace it

Are these in stock currently? I’m considering picking up a set to install this coming weekend.
