Good afternoon everyone. Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is eddie from Rancho Cucamonga. And I’m really excited to introduce this old guy to you all. This is my first FJ40 “77” Another great find from a small town outside of Eugene Oregon. So far so good. I got this old guy started and fixing as I go. I will keep you updated.

Right on!! Congrats.

I'm partial to the '77 year, and am wondering if this truck has / had the smog equipment that may have been standard in trucks on the west coast / CA?

I've got a 6/77 truck that originated in CA, and I'm always looking to learn more, and share experiences.

We like pictures so feel free to post more pix. Rig looks really nice; your seller seems to like red vehicles:)

Welcome to the world of California smog crap! I bought a 71’ to avoid all that. Congrats she looks purdy!

Wow, diamond plate off and not hiding rust--that must be a first! Am, sure your rig will enjoy the nice SoCal heat versus the Oregon when is is going to stop raining weather. Again, congrats on the rig!

Go to your local Toyota dealer for the rims. you can get them for about 100 bucks each, 125 if they are stingy...

Nice rig... Another Oregon find!
