Right on!! Congrats.View attachment 1756171 View attachment 1756172 View attachment 1756173 Good afternoon everyone. Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is eddie from Rancho Cucamonga. And I’m really excited to introduce this old guy to you all. This is my first FJ40 “77” Another great find from a small town outside of Eugene Oregon. So far so good. I got this old guy started and fixing as I go. I will keep you updated.

Welcome, Eddie. Nice rig, but a '77 isn't really an "old guy". My '64 is a bit older...
i wish I could , but it wasn’t running. Simple tune took care of that. You didn't drive it back to test it out?
kinda fun to say!Super nice rig. Congrats Eddie from Rancho Cucamonga!
Yes, I was also surprised.Wow, diamond plate off and not hiding rust--that must be a first! Am, sure your rig will enjoy the nice SoCal heat versus the Oregon when is is going to stop raining weather. Again, congrats on the rig!

I took all the diamond plate off, all I need are some stock steel rims on 33”. Please keep me posted if you know of a set available, hopefully in Southern California.
