What's the wood situation look like down there ? If all possible it would be nice not to have to pull the m416.

ClankBang said:You can count me in for Friday... I have a full length roof rack that I rarely use, but I can put it on if I need to haul some extra supplies.
The 6th is Friday. I vote for around 10 am at Andys shop.
Usually we wheel and set up camp where we end up in the evening. Usually this is an expedition type run vs a base camp run.
We might want to camp at the A/C cave as this time a year it is warmer
Larry there has been GSMTR discussion at every meeting/ride since last may and im sure there will be plenty more to come. But you are correct it will be here before we know it. I think we are pretty well on track as of now. You see an ad. in the Jan/Feb issue of trails and registation will be up in a few days. The parts for the BJ won't be arriving until late January, so I can't make the 6th. Have a great time.
By any chance will there be much GSMTR discussion and planning held by firelight? May will be here pretty quick and there is probably a ton of work to be done.
Just wondering if there is cell phone service at the Cove .

I normally turn my phone off when we leave Jasper, TN (departure/meeting point) and don't turn it back on until I'm back in Jasper loading up to leave.
You might get service at some of the locations that are at a higher elevation but I think its a good bet, to plan for no cell service for the most part, once in the "woods"..
