Hi everybody, hello doctor nick. So I have been looking on this site for a while and finally decided to join. For starters I have a 78 fj40 that my father bought a long time ago and I am trying to rebuild it for him for his Birthday. He always wanted for the both of us to work on it, but he is not motivated to work on it. I decided to take on the task my self. I had a few questions to begin with does anybody know if a 69 fj40 top will fit on a 78 tub? Also I have been trying to collect parts I have everything but the top, amby doors, and front doors. I'l post photos later when I learn how to post them.

Welcome! To post pics, host them on a site like photobucket and then use the photo link from that site. As for your question about the top, I believe it will fit but I don't know if 69FJ40's came with amby doors. You may have trouble getting that to work. Good luck and post those pics.
