New (to me) piggy (1 Viewer)

Well I couldn't resist. While i was in the State College area last week for other cruiser stuff I wanted to take a look at this 55. Ended up making the owner an offer that he accepted after a few days deliberation. The truck has some history and the guy had owned it for seven years- he was quite attached to it. Picked it yesterday and hauled it home using Ben Delp's trailer and awesome GMC tow rig (thanks Ben!!!). Trip went well. Planning to drive the truck today to see how everything shakes out, she's rusty but has some awesome patina and I'm gonna get her inspected and just drive it the way it is. No wax job no touch up paint just drive it. Got a lot of extra parts with the deal, too- always a good thing for me. Maybe there will be a pig run this year or next! Gary S
