For the brake controller, where did you get the brake signal from?
Right from the back of the brake light switch. I think it is grey with a white stripe.

For easier access, you can also trace the brake wire down the side kick panel. There is a connector that makes it easy to test.
I believe the non-ahc sliders have 3 legs... For me it's not going to be a big deal.

I have OPOR sliders (MT made) with 3 legs and after installing/reinstalling about 5 times I wish mine had only 2 instead of 3 legs. The 3rd, middle mounting leg makes contact with the body of he LC due to the MT mounting flange. 2 legs is plenty sturdy to take the weight of the car. I wish I could have ordered mine with with only 2 legs. The groaning sound of the body/slider contact drives me crazy.
