Bit of progress yesterday. Got the trans tunnel dynamatted, the bluetooth gas pedal got kickdown and hand throttle capabilities and the new ccot snorkel tank got a coat of mango tango . Also got the trans dipstick tube and all the associated vent/vacuum lines ran. My buddy called and my tranny lines are done, have to go grab those sometime today so thats cool (as was suggested i got rid of the trans cooler I had. Planning to use the rad cooler and if thats not enough I'll get an aux cooler down the line).

Gonna get fancy and stencil up the tank a bit if i have time later today.

Heater lines hooked up, trans lines/power steering hi press line made and hooked up, dbw pedal installed and hooked up to kickdown and hand throttle, trans tunnel bolted in, new gas tank painted and installed, auto trans cooler in rad flushed, wiring harness laid out, dbw computer mounted to firewall....

Welded a nipple to the fuel filler neck for a fuel retun line since the ccot tank didnt have one, made it extend toward the tank a bit inside the neck so it shoots the fuel back into the tank more efficiently (i hope)..

Otherwise been ziptying and rearranging stuff.

Still have to find a spot for the computer and auxiliary fuse box ... and more than likely a million other things....

nice 40 i have a 69 also with 2 f and 4 speed .looks like some one had a later model for parts when they fixed that .i had a 73 i plowed with for 40 years had to put a clutch in it after 30 years seems like nothing lasts any more lol

Swapped out the misfit/demon gussets for some holy ones and welded the catchers mask back on. Also managed to get 80% of the exhaust done up. The passenger side collector comes under the oil pan and under the ds collector where they both meet at a y pipe and connect to the flex pipe. Just have to make the connection between the flex pipe section and "muffler"/tail pile section to finish er off.

No cruisers right now though because now is beer and camp time.

Finally found a turbo 350 "k" case alloy 6 bolt dust cover... 3 hrs away. Thank god a buddy was down there this weekend and able to pick it up for me. I live when things work out.

Enjoying your build. Nice touch on the bike chains in the cup holders. They conform to the shape/size of the cup, can or bottle right?

I love the can, a buddy gave it to me way back and I use it as my camp beer cooler.

Yup, tha chains conform to whatever container and work quite well to boot. Used one of my old mtb chains and some 3" exhaust pipe sections.
