If you didn’t attend this years LCDC or don’t follow 200LCDC on Instagram shame on you... :) Slee announced and showcased their new LX sliders (also work on the LC) as well as their new skid plate system.

The sliders have stronger attachment points and fully protected underneath. The skids allow you to access filter and change oil easily. Will offer steel and potentially aluminum options.

No timeline on release date but held up great in Ouray.

Those look great. I hope to hear from Slee soon, I asked to be put on their waitlist a month ago.

Look good, they have been talking about these for quite some time. I wonder when they will actually become available.

You would think another company would of been able to identify the market and beat them to market. They are fixed sliders, not retracting running boards with lighting, bluetooth 3.0 and wireless charging.

I guess people don't like money.

I think the older or current version is more friendly to bare feet.

If anyone here in Colorado is replacing their stock LX570 front shield to get a real deal front skid from Slee, I am looking for a replacement. My used 2008 LX570 was missing it when I got her

Man, that’s not it.

Slee and others like money just fine....but they also like getting the product where they want it BEFORE widely releasing it...rather than dealing with regrets afterward.

If it’s easy...
...knock some out & make big bucks first!
Lol

But seriously—
—After field-testing a few prototypes from quality fabricators who care...I appreciate the time, patience & revision it takes to get it right.

Both the skids and LX sliders are still in development/testing. It's possible that the new style of slider can be ordered upon request for the LC but confirm with the Slee team.

Spoke to Cristo at Slee today, first batch of both sliders and skids are at powder coat now. No pricing yet but he should know once the powder coat is completed. These aren't a replacement for the older style slider, while they should fit up to the LC fine if you prefer this style and construction, the purpose was to provide a better solution for the LX fitment wise. At least that was my take away.

I’m on the sliders list, 85 folks in front of me lol

The Slee skids and LX sliders are not attached to one another. However, they are designed to look good together under the truck and play off one another in that respect, especially with the optional accumulator (bubble) skid (available soon after the sliders arrive).

The 200 skid system was designed to strike a balance between big hits, weight, and trapping heat under the truck.

We’re super lucky to have such high quality options in our small market. We’ve designed a skid system that we feel satisfy’s most 200 owners needs.

I’ve personally and intentionally set them down on rocks, buried them in nasty gooey mud, stuck them in snow, measured operating temps in 10 locations simultaneously (and compared to factory temps) and tested the amount of pressure it takes to deform them in their most vulnerable areas. Throughout the design iterations, we’ve beefed up the areas most likely to take a hard strike and lightened areas that are far less likely. We played with different materials and geometry.

Take home point - Wether you choose bud built or Slee skids you’re getting high quality and well thought out system. If the above sounds like it meets your needs, we’d love to include a set with your sliders :)
