That's nice. Very nice dkw3. You can keep the BP shocks and the side trim bling but I want those wheels so bad. Tried to buy some on Craigs list yesterday but the seller will not respond. :(

Any one want to buy brand new kings with res front and back? I'll give them a great deal :)

These OME (progressive rate I assume?) springs look awesome, and oh so much more thread on the front shock body..not even halfway there yet equals potential for more height before even breaching preload issues!

Probably can get another inch and it would still ride the same if not better!

Congrats, really like the fit and finish...can wait to read about the extensive trail test write up!!

Oh one last request, after your done drooling...the side profile pic looks like your getting a full 3 inches maybe, can you measure?

Cheers!

So after some testing/abuse with the Kings I could not be happier, other than even with 700 pound springs (14 inches) I'm still not able to achieve the same height as the Foxes 2.5 they replaced. After confirming that both the Fox and new King's compressed and extended lengths are within ⅜ inch or less of each other extended and compressed, I decided to order new Eibach 16 inch 700 pound springs instead of taking the same spring off the foxes, as perhaps someone is interested in some great condition foxes here on the forum or elsewhere, instead of collecting dust in my garage. In theory the additional 2 inches on the Eibach springs should give me the same lift (3 inches) as the foxes did, and won't require me to max out the preload the current Kings are set at just to achieve a full 2 inches.

You know it's bad when the wife, who normally can't pick up on any of the endless pit of mod fever symptoms, comes in the house and asks me "Did you lower your car or something?"

Here is a video of the foxes in action, mild jumping the 200, you see the fronts eat it up like butter while the rears buck a bit, probably due to the bump I hit right after landing:

The new Kings are blowing my mind, here are a few stretching exercises to wet your noodles. Notice how nicely the 17x8.5 x 4.5inch BS Method Bead lockers stuff the wheel wells

PM if interested in the Foxes, I'm in Diego.

That last shot I could of pulled the spring out if I wanted to...doh!

What rear springs get used with the BP-51's
It depends what load rating/ increase in height you want.. I am running the #2722 rear springs and the are working great..

I got about 2000 miles of mixed driving types with the BP51 suspension now. I am sure glad I went with the BP51... It keeps amazing me everyday...

Thank you. I like the height of yours
Thank you... I am very happy with the way it turned out. It is the perfect height and the handling is better than the factory suspension..

What is the total height from ground to top of roof rack? Need to know if it will still fit in garage? Thx

When I get home tonight I will take some measurements.

Nope, and we had the front cranked up pretty high for that. Not what you should run. The diff drop would not have been compatible with the ARB skids.
Damn, I was just about to purchase the BP-51 and ARB skids as some jackass forgot to reinstall mine during an oil change. What aftermarket skid plates can you run with a diff drop?

Why is the sway bar in front of the KDSS strut moving so much?

Just for grins. Here is a video showing the front shock in action

More speed, get those shocks moving :)

Curious on why the diff drop is not compatable with the arb skids? I have them installed with my tjm skids and they're fine

Group buy? :)

I'll second a group buy?

Never mind. I realized that is ahead of the KDSS pivot point.

Wondering cristo's thoughts on the new shocks

when are you going to install yours @cruiseroutfit ? :D im curious about these now.
