Although I don't like your gas tank, I love that you have a set of genuine "Jackman" wheels, I'd want first dibs if you ever want to get rid of them.
Thanks Jim, I learned something new today. Never heard of Jackman wheels until now. I have a strong suspicion that I could learn something new from you everyday for the next 150 years or so.

welcome

awesome rig,

break out the wallet

Worked on the tank today. I cleaned it with a garden hose and dawn, purged with the exhaust on my pickup, then used a nibbler to open it up. No oxygen = no bomb. Once it was safe I opened up the old repair more with an angle grinder then blasted it. Don’t copy my methods, just figure that I must be a crazy person.

Today was brake cleaning day with an air scraper and needle scaler. There was several pounds of dirt and grease on them. Through this forum I found the 9mm fittings at brakeconnect to make new lines.

For now I am keeping drum brakes but later may add disc brakes. The master is a single circuit, and I would like to go ahead and add a dual master cylinder + adapter before the new brake lines are plumbed.
