1> adds an "open" clubhouse for chatting up local events and trips

2> better sets off the two BC clubs

3> may generate more interest in additional Intl clubs having their own corner for club discussions...

post up if ya gots questions ;) (may wanna sticki this at some point too ;) )

fantastic i know there are a few of us that have missed the old international cruiser chat room. maybe if there is enough interest we could open this one up as well...
anyone else want someplace to chat about stuff that relates mostly to our species of rigs with out having the post moved or deleated?
of course i could be off base again...

You mean .... Like "NUDE" Inter land cruisers? And then we get to chat about them?

Here is also a pic of a local back road, I climb this road in my 74 when its 30C, you gain about 5000 ft of elevation in 35 mins.

I'll second this. I hardly ever hang in the 70s board, where it seems most of the old Int'l folks spend their time. I get too agro when I spend any time on the "national" chat board....

LOL.. I never usually have much to offer tech. All I'm using the 70 for is wheelin on the weekends. Although I did make a new connection from the harness to the ALT. That was fun. Oh and I did pull out the grease pump and hit the shackles once. I forgot to do the pins though. :D

I do need new tires.. that would be a wonderful :shotts:

Either the 255/85/16 BFG mud or some 34x10.5/16 LTB's. I just dunno if I can turn LTB's on splits on the highway with no turbo.

I wanted a Turbo the wife wanted a Kid, guess which we have on order :)

If I read that correctly, I believe a couple of  's your way are warranted. Best wishes to you both!

And thanks, Woody!

Thanks Stone. :D We're excited and I'll continue to be happy going slow

Is the international chat section because the yanks don't like us teasing them about all the things their cruisers don't get that our cruisers come standard with?:flipoff2:

I have no turbo and 34in LTBs on my BJ42 right now, and they made my truck soooo much slower up hills. Of course the 70 might be a bit more arodynamic, and drive faster than the 42, but the tires will take a lot of speed away from your truck. It all depends how much you drive it and where, I can live with it, because I don't drive it every day now, and the amount of mud wheeling we have up here is crazy, and they help a lot. They are pretty good on the rocks too. Also planning to run a turbo some time in the near future though.:D
Cheers,
Deny

Cars under the "K"

Every year here in the Similkameen in August we have an event called Cars under the "k"....

This is just an idea for feed back.... But I was wondering if anyone would be consider in joining in the celebration and maybe we could have import cruisers under the "K". along side Cars under the "K"..

The town of Keremeos is I think a very good location to get together... What do you think?
