Holy crap!!!

Congrats, psquared.

Ron, you can buy another Pig with what you could rake in.

I guess you do draw the line somewhere!

I felt bad for bidding $225, considering my mirrors aren't THAT bad.

I'd love to see the Pig sporting $2,750 mirrors.

I sold NOS fenders, tailgate, handle and rare NOS dual tag lights for a lot less than that.

Insane, but congrats.

WOW! I just don't get it. Why can't you just rechrome and add new glass. I'm holding out for $4000. :)

Psquared, you are a lucky man. Good job.

I will be chasing this high for weeks.

I will also be tracking the package until it arrives.....

Ok for what it's worth. New on this site forum thing. maybe to long winded, re: pig mirrors. My first pig in 1973: wore it out, restored it and wore it out again, 1984 brought a 69-FJ40 back to life then wore it out, 1988 preped a 74 pig for a one way trip to Costa Rica vie Texas, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua. 1990 bought a nice condition 73-FJ40, 1991 Partnered driving an FJ60 1200 miles through Borneo (Trans Borneo), 1992 same FJ60 5500 miles through Australia (Australian Safari) 2006 Salt air in Carpenteria was eating the 73-FJ40: sold it to restore 1970 911: it went way to fast, 2013 sold it to return to my roots: a 77-FJ55.

I AM THE PIG SUCKER WHO LOVES NOS STUFF AND PAID CHA CHING FOR THE FRIGIN MIRRORS.

Sorry for driving the cost of pig parts to oblivion but some where somebody else helped.

Hopefully it was a legit battle. I got tired of being beat out of used ones for upwards of $600. I just figured it was like buying diamond earrings for my mistress. It was also all my play money for the rest of the year. Hope it doesn't start a trend for scalping. Cheers to all who enjoyed the ride.
