Spent the last few weeks building a new rack to replace my old one 
I call it a Hybrid because it's made from both Aluminum and EMT steel.
Like my first build, I needed to keep it within a set budget, but didn't want to skimp on material where it counts
The mistake I made the first time around was using mild steel and not properly sealing it
The base ended up rusting from the inside out
The EMT, however, held up great over the years with zero rust, so I chose to use it again for all the tubing on the new build
Like my old one, I wanted the look of a full sized rack, but also wanted to keep my escape hatch
I also wanted to style it similar to the INTI racks as they're my favorite pre-built design
A large light loop with high sides up front and a low profile rear for easy loading
Also wanted to keep it open for a pop top tent later on, so I plan on relocating all of my OBA stuff and recovery gear down below (haven't figure that out yet)
