Few pictures of of our most recent addition (originally Al's from Maui). There probably won't be any major activity happening with it right away as I've got 4 other LandCruiser projects currently going on.

The FJ25 arrived on Thursday night, thanks Steve, running but not very smoothly. Friday morning, first thing I did was to throw on an original carb and get rid of the Rochester, muuuuuuuch better;).

I'm very happy with the shape and the stock condition of it. It looks like it's not missing too many original items. Here is a few of the items I need to locate, maybe some of you could point me in the right direction.

generator, maybe starter?, light switch, grill ribs are in bad shape, rear emblem, turn signal lever (along with everyone else),

Thanks Al for giving me the opportunity to buy your vehicle, it has been a pleasure dealing with yourself. The FJ25 has gotten a good home. It will be MY vehicle for many of years. Also a thanks for those of you who contribute to the continuation of these vehicles.:beer:.

I've been driving the kids around the property (32 acres) since Friday:). We are all geeked that I have one running since two years ago:rolleyes:.

Oh yea, fuel pump with a primer

Sean, thanks for posting more pictures:cheers:

Have to say it...I know that there was talk in the past about the price Al was asking, plus shipping, and all of that, and while I do believe that many cruisers out there are way over priced (some people are retarded) I do believe that you have one of the best deals I've seen.

True, I am sure it wasn't the cheapest, but you would be hard pressed to find any cruiser in that original condition...no matter the year...let alone a '59! It will cost more to restore mine I'm sure...but it will never be as 'original' as what yours looks like!

Now I can't wait to get my '59 up here:steer:...anyone want to buy my '78 parts?

Once again...congratulations...enjoy it Sean!!! :clap::clap::clap:

Very cool original stuff, love seeing pictures. Always something new or a little detail I've never seen before. :cool:

Check with John #1, those appear to be original electric wiper motors, with no "docking" feature.

It's nice to have a running rig to fool around with, instead of diving head first into a never ending project.

Sean, that truck is majorly cool. Do all of us a favor and make your repairs in small steps where you can keep the rig running as much as possible. You will skew the percentage of running vehicles dramatically with that small feat!

It kind of figures that since the carb had been swapped there was an increased chance the dizzy would be a swap as well. Looks like you've got the Delco time bomb on there.:eek: Better get on that right away.

Best

Mark A.

What a cool '59--drooolin' in GA--Dave:cheers:
