New to the forum and new to the GX world, but a long time lucker.

I live in Brooklyn and spend most of my time in the northeast (Surf casting in Capecod, skiing in VT, coast of Maine). My primary money pit is a '07 porchse 997 turbo but I was getting restless during the winter months / crappy weather and its not the best to get me everywhere

I found a steal on a 2004 from a guy who owns his own shop and has maintained everything meticulously.

Heading into the shop next week for the first round:
Lift / Suspension - Icon GX470 Stage 2 Kit w Tubular UCA's
Wheels - Stealth custom wheels - Stealth 6 (17.5x8.5" 4.3bs x 139.7)
Rubber - BFGs KOs
Front and Rear lockers - ARB
Rails - ARB
Snorkel - ARB
Onboard Compressor - ARB

Second round (mid April? / depends on metal tech fabrication and delivery time)
Front bumper - Metal tech - Stage 3
Rear bumper - Metal tech - Stage 5
Winch - Warn TBD

Damn, round one is a pretty comprehensive collection!

It's great to find another one pretty close to me - I'm in Bergen County NJ.

Consider doing gears when you have the diffs apart for the locker install. The rear differential tends to explode eventually after enough wheeling - it's happened to a few guys here.
