Goodyear just released a new and updated version of the Duratrac. Looks like the new Duratrac RT addresses the weak sidewall issue the original version developed a reputation for. New side lug design and Kevlar. Plenty of siping in the tread and 3 peak snow rated like the original. Also a good selection of sizes are available including 285/75r16 for those of us refusing to give up our 16” wheels.

Anyone who inning these yet?

It looks like their website changes with available stock. Last week it was showing 285/75r16 available.

Many manufacturers discontinued that size and have eliminated many 16" rim sizes in general.
I was a Goodyear fan for years and went through 2 sets of Duratracs in that size. I was forced to go with Toyo AT3s to keep that size. They discontinued both the Duratrac and the MTR in 315/75R16.
I fear that my next set of tires will require 17" rims.

That is very sad news. I’m trying to keep it oem and would love the winter performance of the duratrac

It now makes sense why every site had the original duratrac “sold out” - I just assumed the RT was going to replace it

I have a set of 295s on my tundra. I’ve got about 2500 miles on them.

Very great tire as expected. Little road noise, some rock throwing. But overall very happy with them.

I’ll try to grab a picture before I leave for work today.
