And….done well with the exception of the back camera relocation, HDP landing/support block, and the tag light.

Alright, phase 2 is complete, phase 3 will bring a finished coating and tag and backup camera placement. The addition of the 4xinnovations swing out is the cherry on top. We used a wheel spacer to clear for the hi-lift and added a "bike rack"...

You mention max tire size, our plan was to have a little more poke on the swing-out receiver than on the bumper receiver. Additionally, I didn't like the offset tire on the 4x4 innovations swing, so cutting it off and welding its center is in the...

Did the jeep tailgate table mod, I was going to build one but for $55 this saved me some time and $$.

So round 2 on the Coastal Offroad rear bumper. This one is the correct 2" BL model, and the fit is oh-so-good.

Ford issues are not Toyota issues. Also I’d wager a large % of ‘new Bronco’ owners are dipshits that never offroaded and are breaking s*** because they don’t have a clue how to navigate obstacles.

The electronics are pretty easy, you bypass the 4wd ecu because you are no longer using the center lock button, but the switches on the case are the same, so you can just run the leads up for the 4wd light, and connect the 4wd and neutral light...

@Adventurelife this solves a problem I did not know I had, and pretty reasonably I might add. I would be curious to hear more about the electrics trickery / black magic. I added FJ cases to my search list. 106:1 would have good manners. Oh...
    • xcmountain
This is the thing I get the most questions about, so I hope it helps make sense of it. The FJ case I used is from an automatic transmission FJ. Things start to get a bit confusing with the VF boxes as they are so similar, the automatic...

Had all four seats, the steering wheel, and shift knob leather repaired by a local upholstery shop. The two front seats were rough (but not terrible), the back had a few minor nicks/tears. I was on the fence regarding the Lseat covers and...

It's not perfect but far better than it was before. A bit of a gamble, but so are the Lseat covers. $300 for just a wheel is crazy. I used a small little local shop that mainly does leather repair. You might want to get more quotes.

True, but it depends on your approach and what you're trying to accomplish. Some of the Captains numbers aren't / couldn't possibly be accurate. The 8.0" is the weak link in this equation and I'll run mine until I cannot. I had the same axle in...

At that point it's more cost effective to buy a RZR and tow it with the GX!

Started the day with my Blue Steel Look, then welded and ate tacos, grew a full beard, and like that it’s Magic.

I came from low power and deep gears. I calculated that with 35’s and our 5 spd needed 4.30’s , and 4.56 with 37’s was where it’s at. I was aware of the FJ box but not the low range option (that’s awesome). Can you tell me if there is a certain...

Yea, I’ve been around the Toyota platforms for some time. You don’t need all that stuff, if you don’t drive like an a******. Got back from WindRock in June ran black trails with 35’s on the GX. No problems.

Finally someone with 37's and 4.56's. Do you want questions on the forum or through DM, I have questions. Thank You

I’m in in Jupiter. I liked the idea of the rear door carrier but knew I was headed to 35’s straight out of the gate and then to 37’s as my forever size so the door wouldn't support what I was planning. The other option I arrived right before...

Ok we met in the middle, I like that. I never had a chance. I might fit in a 5 panel garage but not my 4. I’m 6’10.5”……parking garages are how I know.
