Hey Trollhole, I am trying to resurrect an fj60 for a buddy of mine that has one of your carbs on it. It sat out in Utah for a little over a year, then sat in Las Vegas for about another six months and the carb needs to be rebuilt. Do you sell a rebuild kit for it, or can I use the stock 2F rebuild kit? Just want to make sure I get the right kit so that I am not wasting money.

Trollhole, can you put me in line for a carb also? Mine is leaking fuel from the jet valve area and the mechanic say's its easier to just buy a new carb then mess with the one I got.

Jon

Trollhole, I have a weber on a desmoged 77/78 that's driving me nuts. Can you put me down for one of your weber replacements?

Thanks!

carb

can you add me to the list , i have a non usa carb on a 2f fj55 that i just cant make run . the idle adjust screw does not do anything . and dosent rev up unless you close the choke partially . i went through it but i dont know enough to find the issue . sure could use one of yours that works .
Thanks fj55-100

Put me in line for an FJ60 carb, please.

Do I need to send the Paypal money to reserve the spot, or does that just have to happen before the carb gets shipped?

Also, what's the current ETA for the newest batch of carbs? If I'm doing my math right...eight weeks from December 30th means 'last week of February'?

Most likely it will be mid march before I see them. They haven't left port and are still in production.

I'll put you in line. No need to paypal yet. When we get closer you can.

put me next in line too, also do you have a electronic dizzy curved for desmog? or would my stock 78 dizzy work, thanks again

Just wanted to post up kudos to Trollhole for the carb he sells. My (ex-Cali now) '79 FJ40 on 35s and 4.56s with the stock dist is getting 15mpg with this carb, measured by GPS.

The thing starts up without an issue on cold mornings and takes only a minute to get warm enough to run (20-30F lately). I have essentially nothing on the block/head except Jim C's idler for the air pump and the stock manifold warmup spring-plate that still works, but otherwise a stock engine setup minus every smog component. Weirdly it needed a spacer from the carb to the air intake arm, and that was sent quickly free of charge.

Haven't had an issue at steep angles on trails or anything else, the carb just works fantastic. The truck is somewhat hard core with an H42 and 4.7 Marlin Toybox, so it sees weird steep angles from time to time, but it also is driven on highways. Seems happy all around, fuel delivery wise.

Add me to the carb list
